It is called Sophisto Gray in Europe/UK and it is called Dark Graphite Metallic in the U.S. Both are the same color and are color code A90. The problem is most seem to refer to it, even in the U.S., as Sophisto Gray, that is where it is confusing. BMW should have kept the Sophisto Gray name everywhere to lessen the confusion.

I found one sensor wire connected to the Y6120 Charcoal filter valve aka Purge Valve that has a grey wire and a grey and brown wire, which I must assume should be connected to the X6205 Intake Air Temperature Sensor if I am reading the wiring color code abbreviations correctly GR & GR/BR (I am guessing it means Grey and Grey with Brown stripe) . hello, I have a e46 2001 bmw 330ci convertible with lots of codes. One is for the DSP and one is for the fuel pump. I believe the one nearest the dark green is the fuel pump relay. If you pull the one next to the black, then the DSP should be grayed out on the NAV screen and no sound to your radio. Check this with your car as I may have these reversed. I have a 2000.
